Moving Land puts the public in the position of an actor and makes them responsible for their actions. Interactive installation, it is a critical metaphor of our society that highlights the impact of our physical actions on our environment and more particularly the crises related to Water.
By moving through the installation, the audience activates tumblers placed on a mobile floor. The movement of the sculptures is observed by the people present around or immersed in the installation.
Each drop is unique and hand-shaped. Spherical objects inside the bottom of each sculpture create a sound reminiscent of the sound of rain. A connection is created by this movement which is accentuated by the sound of the drops; it is the audience who leads the dance.
The installation is currently updated to allow a presentation of a smaller (2,5 x 2m) or bigger floor. (2,5m x6m)
