L'Archipel is the result of my meeting with Rosine Nadjar (Compagnie Lo), from the effervescence of our joint reflections, and strong from our respective experiences.
L'Archipel, like a choreographic exhibition, brings into play the notions of space and connection.
"We are keen to create an interaction between the visual work - the choreographic work - the place - the public, to touch their capacity for wonder by letting themselves be surprised by what may appear"
.
L'Archipel multiplies, reveals what is unique around us. A perspective on another way of seeing dance and the plastic arts, a moment of escape where the mind can wander, take this time of contemplation, to perhaps see or perceive what it does not usually see and to let itself be crossed by the present moment.
L'Archipel offers another perception of the place in which it takes place. The latter becomes one with the dancers and the audience, through a mise en abyme of reflections. This piece is designed for various places: heritage sites, museums, nature (expanses of grass, parks, seasides, cities, villages) and industrial places.
