IN AND OUT #2

Materials:

Facility   from a wooden box, painting, video projection.

Exhibitions:

In and out #1 , Fleish und Stein Exhibition, Munich (2017).

In and out #2 , Mobile Landscapes Exhibition, Chateaubriant (2023).

In and Out #2 is a participatory video installation, made in stop motion, on a scale of 1. It was made during the solo exhibition, Paysages Mobiles with visitors to the exhibition. It was then presented in the same exhibition, allowing the participating public to come back and see the work in situ.

Between bodily constraint and playful game, this project leads participants to challenge themselves physically as well as to modify the perception of their personal spaces which are put to the test due to the proximity to others in the box.

This then becomes the projection surface for the video montage in order to be at scale 1.

In and Out #2 is a new version following In and Out #1 , produced in Munich in 2017, for the exhibition Fleish und Stein (Flesh and Stone).

This project is a sort of “behind the scenes” of the Corps In Situ In City project which highlights all the work of research into posture that the participants went through before the photographs were displayed.
